Medicine Disposal: Frederick County has set up various dates and locations for people to safely dispose of unwanted or expired medicines. Check out this flier for more information.

Dementia Live: This event gives participants a real-life simulation of what it might be like to live with dementia. This understanding will lead to more sensitive care partnering. Protect Yourself Against Fraud: There are many scams out there, many of which are targeting senior citizens. Read this article to learn more about how you can avoid becoming a victim of a scam.

Groceries for Seniors: On the first Friday of each month, the Frederick Senior Center provides free groceries for seniors in their drive-thru. Distribution starts at 1:00 p.m. and continues until all food has been distributed.

Eldercare Locator: The Eldercare Locator is a nationwide service that connects older Americans and their caregivers with trustworthy local support resources. Click here to visit the website.

Frederick Support Group for Chronic Diseases: This is a free support group open to anyone with a chronic disease diagnosis and their supportive person.
