Groceries for Seniors: On the first Friday of each month, the Frederick Senior Center provides free groceries for seniors in their drive-thru. Distribution starts at 1:00 p.m. and continues until all food has been distributed.

2018 Caregiver Conference: Tuesday, October 2, at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Featuring guest speaker Amy Goyer will be speaking on "Choosing to Care". Amy Goyer is an author, speaker, consultant, and AARP's family & caregiving expert. At this conference, you will learn practical tips for navigating caregiving and find strength and resilience while savoring the humorous and joyful moments along the way. Presention begins at 6:00 p.m. in building 13. Come early to preview the exhibits of the Elder Expo from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in building 9. This preview is only available to conference attendees. Box dinners will be available beginning at 5:00 p.m. in building 13. Caregiving for your loved one is also available in building 9. This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Elder Expo 2018: Wednesday, October 3, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at the Frederick Fairgrounds, buildings 9 & 13. Connect with more than 70 local businesses that provide services related to aging and senior care. Free admission, no registration required. Free lunch for seniors. 11th Annual Frederick Community Health Fair 2018: Saturday, October 27, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., at the Great Frederick Fairgrounds.
