Women's Bible Study

A woman's walk with God is the most important thing in her life. Bible study is designed to keep us "in step" in our relationship with the Lord. It will enrich us spiritually as well as open doors to develop friendships with others.

There are three regular Bible study opportunities for women at South End:

  1. Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30am. For the woman who desires to grow in her personal relationship with her savior Jesus Christ - the Women of Worth (WOW) Sunday School class at South End Baptist Church offers the fellowship of sisters in Christ who encourage one another in their spiritual growth. WOW will be using The Story curriculum for their study starting in September. Please join us for this series of video teaching, lessons and discussion. "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is more than just a cliché. God goes to great lengths to rescue lost and hurting people. That is what The Story is all about - the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity. Condensed into 31 accessible chapters, The Story sweeps you into the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. Using the clear, accessible text of the NIV Bible, it allows stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel. And like any good story, The Story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption - and this story's true!
  2. Koinonia meets every Tuesday morning at 10:00am. Ladies of all ages are encouraged to join us for Bible Study, fellowship, and prayer. Current study is "Seamless" by Angie Smith. 3. Covenant Bible study meets two Thursdays a month at 6:30pm. This is open to ladies of all ages, church and community. On September 28, we will begin a new study: Knowing God's Covenant. What does it mean to be in covenant with God? We will study the Abrahamic covenant, the Old Covenant, and the New Covenant. Contact Darlene Ely at This email address is being protected from spambots.
