Furniture Donations: We are accepting donations of furniture for the youth room. If you'd like to donate furniture, please contact Pastor Christian (you can email him at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Women's Bible Study: The Women’s Bible Study group will be starting Titus in January and will be a 3-lesson study. The Tuesday morning class will begin January 13, 10:00. They meet at the church each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The Thursday evening class will begin January 15, 6:30 on Zoom. That class meets each 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6:30 PM.

Small Groups: This Fall/Winter we have seven small groups that people can join and be a part of. Click here for more information.

Wreaths Across America: South End Baptist Church has partnered with the national Wreaths Across America organization to sponsor wreaths during the Christmas season to be placed at veterans graves at Mount Olivet cemetery. The national date and time for placing wreaths on veteran gravesites is Saturday, December 13 at noon. You can help by purchasing a wreath online at this link.

Food Pantry: Thank you for your generous donations! With your help, we have been able to serve many families in our community. We are currently in need of canned soup, stuffing, canned vegetables, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, canned beans, instant potatoes, cereal, and pancake syrup.

Upcoming Events

Senior Luncheon: December 10, 12:00 pm. All seniors are invited to join us for a Christmas lunch! Ham will be provided. Please bring a side or dessert to share.

Baptist Men's Small Group: December 11, 7:00-8:30 pm at Lynn and Kareem Drummond's house. We will be discussing chapters 9-10 in our book, Kingdom Man, where we'll be talking about the duties and tools that men in the church have available to them and how we can use those tools to lead our families, our friends, and the people in our everyday life. All men in the church are welcome to join us. We'll have snacks and drinks, so everyone just needs to bring themselves and their books.

Christmas Party: December 13, 5:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join us for a Christmas Party! The church will provide dessert. Please bring a finger food to share. We'll also have games. It will be a fun evening!

Christmas Choir: December 14. During the worship service, our Christmas Choir will sing songs as we celebrate the birth of our Lord!

Shepherds for Sale Small Group: December 15, 7:00-8:30 pm at Darlene and Wayne Crowder's house. We will be discussing chapter 5 in our book, Shepherds for Sale, where we'll be talking about the difficulties that the church endured during the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone in the church is welcome to join us. We'll have snacks and drinks, so everyone just needs to bring themselves and their books.

Youth & Young Adult Christmas Party: December 20, 6:30 pm. All youth and young adults are invited to join us for an evening of fun! We'll have a short devotional, music, costume contest, gift exchange, food, games, and prizes! Feel free to bring a friend to join us. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: December 24, at 6:00 pm. Join us for an evening of worship and music as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!
