The Langs will be visiting us on October 26 to share about their mission.. They served in Managua, Nicaragua for 11 years. Now they are called back to the United States to train the next generation of missionaries.
Operation Christmas Child sends gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world! You have two ways you can help: 1) Pack your own box along with $10 for Samaritan’s Purse or 2) Give South End $20 and we’ll supply and pack the box for you. Women's Bible Study: The Women’s Bible Study group will be starting Titus in January and will be a 3-lesson study. The Tuesday morning class will begin January 13, 10:00. They meet at the church each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The Thursday evening class will begin January 15, 6:30 on Zoom. That class meets each 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6:30 PM.

Donations for Carroll Elementary School: We are collecting boxes of tissues and gently used water bottles for Carroll Elementary School. We have a donation box in the foyer. Thank you for your donations!
Wreaths Across America: South End Baptist Church has partnered with the national Wreaths Across America organization to sponsor wreaths during the Christmas season to be placed at veterans graves at Mount Olivet cemetery. The national date and time for placing wreaths on veteran gravesites is Saturday, December 13 at noon. You can help by purchasing a wreath online at this link.
Food Pantry: Thank you for your generous donations! With your help, we have been able to serve many families in our community. We are currently in need of canned soup, stuffing, canned vegetables, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, canned beans, instant potatoes, cereal, and pancake syrup.
Food Pantry: Saturday, October 25, 9:30-11:30 am. Free and open to everyone in our community!
Youth & Young Adults Cookout: November 1, 6:00 pm, at a church member's house. All youth and young adults are invited to join us for a cookout! This will be a cozy night with outdoor games, food, a small devotional, and time around the fire. You won’t want to miss it!
Youth & Young Adults Game Night: November 24, 7:00 pm. All youth and young adults are invited to join us for food, video games, board games, and a short devotional. It's going to be great evening filled with fun, fellowship, and ecouragement. We'll provide the food, snacks, and drinks, but feel free to bring something to share if you'd like. We look forward to seeing you there!
