Business Meeting: August 19, 7:00 pm. 

Baptist Men's Small Group: August 26, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Austin & Carrie Featherstone's house. We will have dinner together before we start our new video series, "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge, where we will discuss what it means to be a man of God and what God has intended for us.

Do Not Leave Quietly Small Group: August 31, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Wayne & Darlene Crowder's house. We will be discussing chapters 18-20 from our book, "Do Not Leave Quietly" by Pastor Mario Murillo. We will start with dinner before we jump into our book discussion.

Reimagining Evangelism Small Group: September 1, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Austin & Carrie Featherstone's house. We will have dinner together before we discuss chapter 2 from our new book, "Reimagining Evangelism" by Rick Richardson.

Wreaths Across America: This year we’re looking to donate more wreaths to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with a goal of reaching 100 wreaths purchased by the end of the year. Won’t you consider purchasing a wreath each month for just $17? Our neighbors at Mt. Olivet cherish us as partners.

Upcoming Events

Food Pantry: August 22, 9:30-11:00 am. Free and open to everyone in our community. We currently are in need of fruit, canned beans, soup, carrots, peas, stuffing, and mixed vegetables. All items must be in-date and sealed.

Outdoor Movie & Picnic Night: August 29, 5:00-9:00 pm. All youth and young adults are invited to join us for an evening of fun! We'll have pizza, drinks, snacks, games, and a movie. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. Bug spray is optional, but a good idea.

Sunday School Kickoff Breakfast: September 6, 8:00-9:30 am. We will have a time of fellowship from 8:00-9:00 am where everyone can join for breakfast and fellowship; then we will have each Sunday School class give a brief overview of what they are studying from 9:00-9:30 am. We encourage all SEBC members to attend the breakfast and join a Sunday School class.

Church Picnic: September 20, 12:00 pm. Join us for a picnic in the park! We'll be right next door at Carrollton Park. Main dish will be provided. Please bring a side to share.
