It's Time for Soccer Camp!

It's that time again! Time for High Power Soccer Camp! I hope you all have had a great year. We're looking forward to seeing the kids again as we gear up for another fun soccer camp. High Power Soccer Camp is for children ages 5-10 years old. During our camp, kids will learn soccer skills and make new friends all while learning about how amazing our God is. The event is held right next to our church at Carrollton Park. During our camp, kids will learn basic soccer skills, memorize our key Bible verse for the week, and enjoy fun music and skits all focused on our God.

The cost per child is $40 and includes: bag, t-shirt, soccer ball, water bottle, booklet, and wristband.

First Day of Camp

Parents, please arrive at 5:15 p.m. the frst day to give yourself enough time to check in your child. Our registration and check-in is at the park pavilion. You will sign in your child, pay any outstanding camper fee(s) you may have, and receive your child's camper bag. Children can then change into their team T-shirt and fill their water bottles. Please make sure your child brings their water bottle every day. It can get pretty hot outside and we want to make sure everyone stays hydrated.

Each day our soccer camp begins at 5:30 p.m. Parents, please arrive before 5:30 to give yourself enough time to sign your child in at the park pavilion. You will need to sign your child in each day. After sign-in, please escort them to their team line which is marked by their team flag. Our Awana Ministry Director Tim Sloane will then lead our teams in our warm-up exercises and show us a new skill. From there the teams will each go to a drill station. We will do drills until it is time to head over to church for snow cones, music, a skit, and team time. During team time coaches will go over that day's message and have a group discussion with the kids. Teams will also enjoy snacks during team time. After team time, teams will travel back to the park for game scrimmages. Parents, you are more than welcome to hang out and watch teams scrimmage. Some parents even bring folding chairs to have a comfy seat.
